Stroke patients with left-hemisphere damage (LHD) show higher apraxia rates (54%) than those with right-hemisphere damage (RHD, 30%). Specific gesture dimensions like action (LHD) and location (RHD) were differentially affected, linked to temporoparietal junction lesions.
