Summary

This study presents a rare case of supraglottic laryngeal lymphoma, a type of B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The patient showed a positive response to combined chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

Background:

Extranodal non-Hodgkin lymphomas frequently occur in the head and neck region.
Primary laryngeal lymphoma is an exceptionally rare malignancy.
B-cell lymphomas represent a significant proportion of non-Hodgkin lymphomas.

Observation:

A novel case of supraglottic laryngeal lymphoma is detailed.
The tumor was histologically classified as a B-cell, non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
This case represents the 88th reported instance of primary laryngeal lymphoma in the literature.

Findings:

The patient's tumor demonstrated a favorable response to a treatment regimen involving polychemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Early diagnosis and prompt treatment are crucial for managing rare laryngeal malignancies.
