Abstract:
New York City's Partners in Care, a subsidiary of the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, has implemented several innovative programs involving education, training, and followup support for their homemaker-home health aides providing care to patients with HIV or AIDS. These programs have proved essential to the development of a successful community care program for persons with AIDS.
