There are moral, ethical, and legal issues surrounding temporary nurses and the agencies providing them that have an impact on patients, practitioners, and administrators of institutions using them. While no clear-cut answers have been put forth, increased awareness of the ramifications of the use of temporary agency nurses brings caution to all concerned.
