The health of nations

In his new book, "Fighting for New Zealand", Labour Leader Mike Moore focuses on the challenges of growth, jobs and economic prosperity, and offers his prescription for achieving progress. In this article, based on a chapter in the book titled "The Health of Nations", Mr. Moore argues the case for the advancement of New Zealand's public health system. He advocates creative use of new technology to emulate the pioneering vision that gave New Zealand such outstanding services as Plunket and school dental nurses.
