The impending arrival of UB-92

Amid discussion on various forms of electronic claims and new legislation related to administrative simplification, the National Uniform Billing Committee (NUBC) met in January to continue its progress toward implementation of the 1992 Uniform Bill (UB-92) on October 1, 1993. The full schedule saw the NUBC consider the "language" attached to the UB-92 form, the introduction of new codes, a review of the attachment situation, consideration of an official electronic format, and reflection on the current and future role of the NUBC.
