Abstract:
The proliferation of high-tech, low-cost PCs has made it easier to break into the world of personal computing. There are many very satisfactory systems available for today's consumer for around $1500 to $2000. My initial hardware recommendation for a system set-up for the individual medical transcriptionist or office environment is shown in Figure 1 below.
