    Summary

    Isolated gallbladder metastasis from cutaneous melanoma is rare but possible. Early detection and radical surgery can lead to successful patient outcomes.

    Observation:

    • A case of isolated gallbladder metastasis from cutaneous melanoma is presented.
    • The patient exhibited symptoms of obstructive cholecystitis.

    Findings:

    • Melanoma metastasis to the gallbladder can occur in isolation.
    • The unpredictable nature of melanoma necessitates considering metastasis in unrelated conditions.

    Implications:

    • Isolated metastases may be amenable to radical surgical treatment.
    • Surgical intervention for rare melanoma metastases can be rewarding.
