Abstract:
Alcoholism is the United States's most serious drug problem. Within the health services, it is detrimental to the function of an organization as well as its employees. This article examines alcoholism in the healthcare organization and offers suggestions on how health services administrators can manage employees who demonstrate alcoholic symptoms.
