Abstract:
The National Information Center on Health Services Research and Health Care Technology (NICHSR), located at the National Library of Medicine (NLM), mounted a database called Health Services Technology Assessment Research (HSTAR). HSTAR pulls together a number of online resources which cover topics such as clinical practice guidelines, technology assessments, and clinical trials. This article gives a brief overview of the database and some hints for effective searching.
