Abstract:
Intraoperative color Doppler recordings, obtained either from the epicardial or transesophageal approach, offer real-time information about the presence and severity of mitral regurgitation at the time of surgery. The technique allows instantaneous evaluation of mitral and tricuspid repair and may offer important information about the postoperative outcome.
