Abstract:
The transformation of the health care marketplace now demands transformation of the academy. The stakeholders--students, industry leaders, business, government, consumers--are all demanding managed care education now for the students of health administration. The authors describe a graduate course on managed health organizations initially offered to students at a Southwestern university during 1994.
