1Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Lexington, KY, USA.
Abstract:
A method for evaluating health care team performance from a problem-solving perspective is described. The effectiveness of team collaboration is measured by the extent to which teams resolve or improve problems in interdisciplinary processes. A summary indicator of team performance is illustrated, and application of the approach to other health and human service problems is discussed.
