Abstract:
In a role that is complicated, yet rewarding, the consultant pharmacist has the daily opportunity to affect the care of many patients. Consultant pharmacists have traditionally practiced in the long-term care/nursing home setting; however, the subacute facility is an emerging area of responsibility for consultant pharmacists.
