Abstract
Objective:
The aim of this paper is to report an aspect of the management of a case of dissociative fugue.
Clinical Picture:
A Vietnam veteran was suffering post-traumatic stress disorder.
Treatment:
Treatment involved the provision of a locator beacon worn in a neck chain.
Outcome:
This treatment resulted in the curtailment of the dissociative fugue episodes.
Conclusion:
The locator device proved a useful component of a multimodal treatment regime.
