A new electrosurgical device, UROloop, effectively treats benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) with transurethral prostatectomy (TUR-P). Patients experienced significant symptom improvement and enhanced urinary flow with minimal complications.

Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the efficacy and safety of transurethral prostatectomy (TUR-P) using the novel UROloop electrosurgical device for BPH treatment.
  • To assess clinical outcomes and urodynamic parameters post-procedure.

  • A prospective study involving 24 male patients with BPH undergoing TUR-P with the UROloop device.
