  • The onset of symptoms correlated with the use of phenylephrine hydrochloride eye drops.

Findings:

  • Patch testing revealed positive reactions to phenylephrine hydrochloride in both affected patients.
  • Standardized patch testing confirmed specific sensitization to phenylephrine hydrochloride.
