Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the impact of severe megaloblastic anemia on pattern shift visual evoked responses (PSVER).
  • To evaluate the reversibility of visual evoked response abnormalities after anemia correction.

Main Methods:

  • Thirty patients with severe megaloblastic anemia underwent PSVER testing.
  • PSVER P100 latency and amplitude were compared to thirty age- and sex-matched controls.
