Thyroid autoimmunity does not appear to influence lipoprotein (a) [Lp(a)] levels. This study found no significant differences in Lp(a) concentrations or apolipoprotein (a) [apo(a)] isoform frequencies between patients with and without thyroid autoimmunity.
