Abstract:
A total synthesis of (Z,E)-D-Glucophosphoenolpyruvate and its carboxylic ester derivatives is described in four or five steps from 2,3:5,6-Di-O-isopropylidene-4-O-t-butydimethylsilyl-D-glucose.
