Distribution of social service expenditures: a study

Because this country is providing more social service through public programs, it is important that professionals as well as policymakers understand how the billions of dollars devoted to these services are being spent. This study investigated patterns of distribution of social service expenditures and found a trend toward equalization of expenditures among the states.
