Osteochondritis dissecans of the talus: discussion and case report

A brief discussion of the salient clinicopathologic features of an entity known as osteochondritis dissecans and an illustrative case have been presented. High quality radiographic studies are of prime importance in formulating the diagnosis. Successful treatment of this relatively uncommon lesion can be provided once a thorough evaluation is made.
