Communicating the value of fringe benefits to employees
Abstract:
In a city where competition for employees was extremely high, one clinic kept its edge by offering a generous benefits package. Problems arose, though, because the employees did not fully appreciate the value of their fringe benefits. A concise and effective written communication tool was therefore developed, informing each employee of the cost and value of his personal fringe benefits. The figures accompanying this article offer every administrator not only an example of benefits analysis, but also a valuable basis for comparison.
