Abstract:
A hospital must consider and discuss with commercial banks a number of questions before deciding on the appropriate credit support vehicle and the bank with which to work. Making sure that all parties agree to the major points early in negotiations results in each institution meeting its financial objectives, thereby structuring a transaction acceptable to all parties.
