Abstract:
A medical group considering the possibility of becoming involved with a PPO faces a host of challenges. The author of this article firmly believes that medical groups today are prime candidates for this emerging alternative delivery system. The evolution and future of PPOs, advantages and disadvantages, and strategies during start-up are presented.
