Abstract:
Evaluating a community's health status requires a relative measure with which to compare one community to another. Ridits are a simple method of making such a comparative judgment. Described here are the steps involved in calculating ridits, the various ways ridits can be used, and a summary of planner decisions based on ridit analysis.
