AARP confronts health costs. Interview by Amanda G. Watlington

Cyril F. Brickfield, JD, Executive Director of the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) in Washington, DC, is this month's HCSM interviewee. He has also served on the Advisory Council for the 1981 White House Conference on Aging and was official delegate of the United States to the United Nation's World Assembly on Aging in 1982. HCSM has chosen to speak with Mr. Brickfield to present the views of an organization that directly represents the elderly. Mr. Brickfield discusses here the health care needs and concerns of the elderly and the effect of aging on the health care system.
