Journal of Pastoral Care
|August 8, 1987
Abstract:
Identifies and discusses five similarities and three differences between group psychotherapy and group supervision in a CPE setting. Notes particularly the distinctions between life-changing growth and professional education and the presence of a variety of group experiences in the CPE model. Opines that understanding both the similarities and the differences can help the educational supervisor choose intentionally among various supervisory strategies.
