Strategic importance of networks for single specialty groups

Increasing competition and the pressures of cutting costs are threatening the survival of single specialty groups. The author points out that these groups must be imaginative and innovative in developing networks with what may once have been economic enemies or they will die. A description of these some of these alternative health plans is included.
