Survey search: health executives on care for the medically indigent
Abstract:
The American College of Healthcare Executives polled 359 members about their attitudes toward access to care for the 37 million Americans considered "medically indigent," and for all citizens, as well as toward the roles of government, physicians and hospitals in funding and providing such care. The findings reveal mixed feelings--and rationalizations about them--reminiscent of those of British National Health Service administrators.
