AT&T and the Bowman Gray School of Medicine of Wake Forest University/Baptist Hospital are undertaking a massive research project. This endeavor will bring together many advanced development and testing facilities with a major goal in mind--advancing communications technology within healthcare by improving image compression/transmittal to remote areas and connecting diverse systems.
