Abstract:
A Task Force was formed by the Pennsylvania Society of Hospital Pharmacists to review the shortage of hospital pharmacists and to recommend ways to deal with it. Recommendations by the Task Force to PSHP are discussed. These recommendations should place hospitals and their departments of pharmacy in a better position to recruit and retain pharmacists.
