It is not a question of if, but when, all claims and attendant transactions will be submitted electronically. It will happen because it makes sound economic sense for the provider and for the carrier, and it will make life easier for the insured. It is no wonder EMC has become one of the hottest topics and growth areas in the healthcare information systems industry today.
