East-West medical student cooperation

Bernard Lown, at the time covered by this report, had just finished an internship at Yale. As many H&M readers know, he was a founder of Physicians for Social Responsibility in 1961 and is the co-president of the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War.
