Present and future action on federal health care policy

This article outlines the accomplishments made in health care legislation during 1986. Areas covered are the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act, the Sixth Omnibus Reconciliation Act, budget increases for AIDS research, and the effect of the new tax law on health care. Also included is an overview of legislative goals for 1987.
