Supplemental security income for the aged, blind and disabled; Medicaid eligibility determinations--Social Security
Federal Register
|March 29, 1988
Abstract:
We have revised our rules on the agreements under which we make Medicaid eligibility determinations on behalf of States for individuals who receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits. The revision provides that we may enter into an agreement with a State even though the State's Medicaid eligibility requirements differ from the requirements for SSI or for State supplementary payments, or both, in ways mandated by Federal law. We also have rewritten and reorganized our existing rules for making Medicaid eligibility determinations.
