Neonatal total parenteral nutrition: a program for computer-generated profiles
Hospital Pharmacy
|March 11, 1984
Abstract:
This article describes a unique microcomputer program for the calculation of a profile for neonatal parenteral nutrition. It describes functions of the program and the parameters on which the calculations are based. A printed profile is shown and discussed in detail. It is recommended that the purchase or lease of a microcomputer is worth the necessary expenditures to reduce the tedious calculations involved with total parenteral nutrition in neonatal patients and to improve the accuracy of these calculations.
