Abstract:
A proposal of a device for continuous monitoring of the movements of the rat's mandible is outlined. Its utility in experimental psychopharmacology is suggested for monitoring of the effect of neuroleptics and antidepressants on oral stereotypies as induced by CNS stimulants.
