Published on: February 16, 2011
Abstract:
This special end-of-the-decade forum brings together 17 of the state's outstanding health care leaders to discuss their vision of how the 1990s will affect delivery of health care services in and out of hospitals. From the rural health care crisis to national health care insurance, government reimbursement to technological advances, these leaders foresee a breathtaking variety of trends, challenges and opportunities for the industry. The only concensus among them is that flexibility, innovation and preparedness will be necessary for survival in the decade ahead. And there's no better time than the present to get ready--the 1990s are almost here.
