The article deals with chronic paroxysmal hemicrania which is a special type of headache described for the first time by Sjaastad and Dale in 1974. The author presents the symptoms and signs of the disease, its the most frequent manifestations and diagnostic methods. The probable etiology of the disease and the most effective methods of its treatment are discussed.
