Abstract:
Gonorrhea is the most frequently reported communicable disease in the United States. This chapter elucidates the clinical features of gonococcal infections and discusses current treatment guideline. Several complications of gonorrhea, including pelvic inflammatory disease and disseminated gonococcal infection, are also described.
