Summary

Testicular fibrosarcoma is a rare stromal tumor. This aggressive form in a 71-year-old male presented with widespread metastases and a rapidly fatal outcome, highlighting its dismal prognosis.

Background:

Testicular sarcomas are rare stromal tumors.
They typically follow an indolent course but can metastasize.

Observation:

A case of pure primary intratesticular fibrosarcoma in a 71-year-old male is presented.
Metastases were widespread by the time of tumor detection.
The patient experienced a rapidly fatal course.

Findings:

Pure fibrosarcoma of the testis is an occasional stromal tumor.
This specific case demonstrated an aggressive presentation and dismal prognosis.
Extensive sampling is crucial to exclude germ cell components and confirm pure fibrosarcoma.

Implications:

Pure fibrosarcoma, though rare, can be aggressive and rapidly fatal.
