Abstract:
One of every six adolescents lacks health care coverage, and many adolescents avoid medical care regardless of whether it is covered. In this chapter, the author explores health care financing, programs that guarantee services, access to care in a reformed health care system, organization of services, and other factors affecting chronically ill adolescents.
