Abstract:
Infectious diarrhea continues to be an important cause of morbidity and mortality throughout the world and is a common problem in adolescents. It is frequently related to travel, ingestion of contaminated water, and food poisoning. This article presents an approach to the evaluation and management of the adolescent who presents with diarrhea.
