Abstract:
Storytelling through reminiscence and life review can be an important activity for individuals who are dying. Benefits include catharsis, integration, meaning-making, and the enhancement of relationships. Specific tools for facilitating life stories--taped autobiographies, journals, "reminiscentia," and scrapbooks--are discussed.
