Summary

Krukenberg tumors, a rare gastrointestinal (GI) cancer metastasis to the ovaries, were more common in premenopausal women. Pregnancy-associated Krukenberg tumors were notably higher in this study, suggesting consideration for prophylactic oophorectomy during GI cancer surgery.
