Summary

This study details a rare case of T-cell primary central nervous system lymphoma in a 46-year-old male. Treatment with radiation and chemotherapy led to a favorable 24-month outcome, similar to B-cell lymphomas.

Background:

Observation:

  • A 46-year-old male presented with a T-cell primary non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
  • The tumor was localized to the right parietal region of the brain.
  • No evidence of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) was found.

Findings:

  • Immunohistochemical analysis confirmed the T-cell lymphoma diagnosis.
  • The patient received radiation and chemotherapy.
  • The patient remained disease-free for 24 months post-treatment.
