Summary

Native Japanese speakers showed better performance in identifying kana stimuli presented to the right visual field and left hemisphere (RVF/LH) compared to the left visual field and right hemisphere (LVF/RH). This highlights a left-hemisphere advantage for phonetic processing across languages.
