Desflurane effectively controls intraoperative hypertension during vascular surgery. This anesthetic agent was found to be safe for left ventricular (LV) function in patients at risk for cardiac events.

    • This finding supports the use of desflurane in patients with cardiac comorbidities undergoing vascular procedures.
