Summary

Dental cement incus replacement prostheses (CIRPs) offer an adaptable solution for ossicular chain reconstruction. Experiments in human temporal bones show CIRPs provide ideal tension and potentially superior acoustic performance compared to standard incus replacement prostheses (IRPs).
